Come Together... A little Help From Luke's Friends

On Wednesday, October 24th, 2012, The Luke Moretti Fund is hosting a special evening, encompassing a cocktail reception and silent auction, followed by a two-hour concert, featuring The Cast of Beatlemania. Proceeds support The Luke Moretti Fund, to benefit the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation for Spinal Cord Research. This unique, fun event takes place at Life, The Place to Be, 2 Lawrence Street, Ardsley, NY at 7:30 PM

It’s an extraordinary opportunity to experience a great, nostalgic evening of music in an intimate setting while supporting an important cause. The Luke Moretti Fund is a not-for-profit fund within the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation. The fund was created by Michael & Anne Moretti, of Scarsdale, NY, to help raise public awareness, fund research, and directly assist the huge community of people whose lives have been affected by spinal cord injuries. Last April, Mike and Anne’s 19-year old son, Luke, was injured in a diving accident during his freshman year at Vanderbilt University, and he suffered severe life-altering spinal cord injuries. Luke fractured his C5 vertebra, and is presently paralyzed from the chest down. Despite this catastrophic injury, Luke’s boundless spirit, his positive outlook, and his determination to resume his life’s passions and goals are an inspiration to everyone he meets.

Admission for the full evening of events is $125.00 per person and includes a cocktail reception, light hors d’oeuvres, a silent auction, a raffle, and a musically charged event featuring The Cast of Beatlemania.

The magic of The Beatles, live on stage, is stunningly recreated by The “Cast” of Beatlemania!  “The "Cast" recreates the sights and sounds of The BEATLES so faithfully that you will recall when the world was engulfed in the most pleasant fever of all: Beatlemania!  With three different costumes changes, coinciding with the changing music and times, theirs is the first, original and only complete representation of the musical force called The BEATLES. The "Cast" features former members who starred in the Broadway production and have performed in all fifty states and over twenty foreign countries, including Canada, England, Mexico, Brazil and Japan. The concert is a Baumer Ventures Inc. production.
